Artist's Comments
This was my first attempt at doing a realistic portrait, and without any real point of reference to boot! I had a lot of trouble with lighting because of this, since my lack of experience in the area made it hard to decide where shadows would fall. I also kinda got tired of it part of the way through, as it may seem unfinished at the bottom, LoL. I think it came out okay though. Done with brown colored pencil.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
